Lindsay has had animals her whole life. Her pack at home currently includes two dogs, a cat, a ball python and a horse. One of the dogs is a senior Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescued from the SPCA. The horse is a 21-year-old mare she has had for 20 years.

When Lindsay joined POMDR in July 2023, it was her first time being involved with a rescue. She says she is loving every minute of it!

She was a professional horse trainer for 10 years and taught riding lessons on her own horses. When she retired her horses, she decided to go into veterinary medicine and worked at a general practice for three years.

Lindsay is currently enrolled in a program working towards her Registered Veterinary Technician's license. She has been Fear Free certified since 2021.
