Where: Laurel Avenue and Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz
What: Join POMDR for a festive and fun holiday parade through downtown Santa Cruz which will include some of POMDR's adoptable dogs!
All friendly dogs are welcome. Festive holiday attire for people and dogs is encouraged. Represent POMDR, and kick off the holiday season!

Pet Photos With Santa Paws

Where: Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel, 1600 Soquel Dr., Santa Cruz
What: Join us for pet photos with Santa at the Adobe Animal Hospital of Soquel. There is no set fee but donations are encouraged. All donations will go to POMDR and benefit senior dogs and people!

The Monica Rua Silver Hearts Fund
We are thrilled to announce the creation of the Monica Rua Silver Hearts Fund, a tribute to the tireless dedication that Monica, our co-founder, has to helping senior dogs. After over 15 years of service on the POMDR Board of Directors, Monica continues to make a difference by fostering super seniors, dogs with severe medical conditions, and those in hospice care.
