Zazu is here! Named after the lovable feathered friend from The Lion King, this handsome French Bulldog shares the pep of his namesake! He is all love and wants to be friends with everyone! He loves to play ball, though he may not give the ball back, or he can settle and relax alongside you. He has that classic Frenchie charm, with a sweet personality that makes him hard not to adore.

Zazu is well-intentioned, but greets everyone, including every dog, with great enthusiasm! He can settle well at home but may need help introducing himself calmly to other pups. He is great on leash and loves meeting dogs and people, including children. He is also good with cats!

Zazu loves car rides and will relax in his seat. This good boy also quickly learned good potty habits and should be easy to potty-train in a new home. A bonus: he is crate trained and can sleep through the night in a cozy crate. Being extremely food motivated, he is all around a highly trainable dog (and he eats his fruits and veggies!) He has also been very good for his baths, which is great given that he needs medicated baths to help keep his coat and skin healthy.

Zazu isn't asking for much, just a comfortable place to land, some patience, and plenty of love. His ideal day would be playing, eating, and simply being with you and your family--maybe with an afternoon nap sprinkled in!

Sweet Zazu came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was picked up as a stray. Due to his medical needs, they felt he would do best in a rescue where he could get his medical care started before being adopted.
