Sometimes the very best dogs are the ones who don't ask for much and Timon is one of those special boys. This sweet senior gentleman is polite, easygoing, and wonderfully good-natured. He has a calm, independent spirit and is perfectly content to quietly hang out with his people and enjoy the simple things in life. Timon is also a great little gentleman with other dogs and seems to appreciate having canine company around. He's not looking to be the center of attention; he's just happy to be included and surrounded by people who are kind to him.
Timon is currently facing a bit of a challenging chapter. He has a large tumor affecting one of his front legs, and our veterinary team believes amputation of that leg will likely be necessary soon. While that may sound like a big change, Timon is the kind of guy we think will take it all in stride. What he needs most right now is a special, loving home where he can recover comfortably, receive plenty of patience and encouragement, and know that he is safe and cared for.
Timon joins us after he was found as a stray and landed with Hitchcock Road Animal Services. Due to the severity of his medical needs, they contacted us to address his urgent medical needs.
