Named after the legendary Shelby Mustangs, this sweet girl is proof that great things come in compact packages. She may not have hundreds of horsepower under the hood, but she has plenty of charm, character, and classic good looks.

Shelby loves a good walk, though she prefers to set the pace. Some days she's cruising down the sidewalk; other days she wants to make a few pit-stops to sniff around. She might try to race after a squirrel, but at 13lbs, she's easy to handle. When it comes to meeting new friends, she's polite to other dogs on leash and welcomes guests into her home with a happy wag; this includes children, whom she'll happily seek out for affection.

Apart from walking, her hobbies include sunbathing, chasing squirrels, and snuggling with her favorite people! She also has her potty habits down. She knows to go out during the day (preferably on a walk) and can use a potty pad at night. She's also fine with being left alone. Though she might express her distaste with a whine, she does settle down.

Shelby came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray.
