Potato is strikingly pretty, full of personality, and completely aware of both facts. Pink is her color -- she insists -- and she has a way of turning heads wherever she goes.

Her favorite things include cozy naps, car rides, leisurely walks, and spending time with her people. She bonds deeply with her family and loves being close, happily following her favorite person from room to room. Crate-trained, well-mannered, and easygoing, Potato would thrive with someone who works from home or is retired and appreciates a loyal, snuggly companion.

Potato is in great health, however, almost entirely deaf, and completely unbothered by it. Potato navigates the world confidently and very much on her own terms. She does have allergies and is currently thriving on prescription hydrolyzed protein food to help keep her feeling her best. Potato does have one firm request: she would like to be the only dog in the home. She's perfectly friendly with other dogs out and about, but she prefers not to share her house, her people, or her spotlight.

Potato joined the POMDR pack after her previous home was no longer the right fit for a fabulous queen like her. She originally arrived at a shelter around the time of the L.A. fires with little known about her history.
