Sparkler has a way of making everything around her feel a little brighter, just like a warm summer evening filled with laughter, ice cream, and a little bit of magic in the air. This cheerful Lady is easygoing, affectionate, and happy to take life at a mellow pace. She makes it her business to know everything that is going on around the house and the yard, and she will be your faithful shadow throughout the day... unless she is taking one of her frequent beauty naps.

Sparkler gets along well with all people, other dogs, as well as with cats, and she brings a calm, friendly presence wherever she goes. She is quite independent and easily adjusts to new surroundings and circumstances. She loves food and snacks and will perform a happy, twirly dance when she thinks that dinner should be served at any time now. With her fluffy, sparkly coat, darling face, and soft, soulful eyes, she is impossible not to fall in love with.

Sweet Sparkler joined us after she was found as a stray and brought to Hitchcock Road Animal Services. They felt she would do best in a senior focused rescue to find her forever family.
