Meet Katzu (aka Katie), the sweetest little couch companion you could ask for! Katie is a gentle, low-energy girl who's much more interested in a leisurely Sunday stroll than a power walk. She loves sniffing around the yard, following her people from room to room, and then adorably plopping onto the floor like a fluffy little mop while keeping you company. She has a heart of gold and simply wants to be a good girl, get along with everyone, and soak up all the love she can.

Katie is wonderfully easygoing with other dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities; even the energetic ones and the blind ones who accidentally bump into her! She's happy to share a dog bed with her furry friends and would likely do well in a home with other pets, possibly even a cat. She greets new people with polite curiosity, happily accepts pets and cuddles, and is never pushy for attention. If she's feeling extra affectionate, she may even ask to climb into your lap for a cozy cuddle session.

She's a quiet, calm companion who rarely barks, rides beautifully in the car, settles nicely in her crate, and handles time at home without any fuss. Toys aren't really her thing, Katie would much rather spend her day lounging on a big comfy bed, hanging out with her people, and enjoying a few gentle adventures. She's partially housetrained, especially with a consistent routine, and she's currently working on getting healthier with a diet and a little extra fitness to help her joints. Like many seniors Katie is hard of hearing.
