Pirate may have lost an eye, but he hasn't lost an ounce of heart. This tiny white Chihuahua is recovering beautifully and taking everything in stride. His pirate look only adds to his charm -- and trust us, he knows how to use it!
What Pirate wants most in life is simple: your lap. If you're sitting, he's sitting with you. If you're holding him, he's home. He absolutely thrives on affection and would happily spend his days tucked into your arms, snoozing against your chest, or supervising the world from the safety of your shoulder. He bonds quickly and loves being someone's little shadow.
Despite his recent surgery, Pirate is healing wonderfully and is already back to enjoying the things that matter most -- cuddles, cozy blankets, and lots of attention. He's resilient, gentle, and endlessly devoted.
Pirate joined POMDR from Hitchcock Road Animal Services in Salinas after he was found stray with a severe injury to his eye.
