We can't wait to introduce you to miss Mindy. Mindy's story is one of quiet strength, incredible resilience, and the power of second chances. Mindy's rescue journey started when animal control was called to pick up what was reported as a deceased dog. They found a tiny, still body with a severely injured eye. That little dog was Mindy. She appeared lifeless... until she moved! In that moment, she proved what we know to be true: this little girl is a fighter. Mindy was rushed to our local shelter, where she received emergency care and had her injured eye removed. She's been through more than most dogs ever will, but you'd never guess it from her gentle, loving spirit.
Now safe and healing, Mindy is ready for her fresh start. While slightly reserved initially, Mindy wants nothing more than to bond deeply with her person. Mindy warms up easily with patience and kindness. Once she feels safe, she'll stick by your side like a loyal shadow, a true companion through and through. Mindy may have only one eye, but she sees love clearly. She's ready to leave her past behind and step into a future full of comfort, cuddles, and connection. If you're looking to make a real difference in a dog's life and gain an incredibly devoted friend in return, Mindy is your girl.
Loving little miss Mindy joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. We're so excited to see this girl blossom in her next home!
