Meet Butterscotch, your sweetest companion! Butterscotch is a heart-meltingly adorable long-haired Dachshund mix with a personality as sweet as his name. This little gentleman is the full package: calm, gentle, and endlessly endearing. Butterscotch is the kind of pup who will quietly curl up next to you while you read or nap, content just to be near his people.

He's wonderfully mellow and gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, making him a great addition to a multi-pet household or a perfect solo companion for someone looking for a low-key best friend. Butterscotch does however seem to become overwhelmed around young children, so a home free of kids or grandkids is on his checklist for his next home. At his core, Butterscotch is all about love. He doesn't need much, just a cozy spot to rest, a few strolls around the block, and someone to give him the affection he so sweetly returns.
