Say hello to Hopper, a young, spirited Frenchie with a heart full of love and a bounce in his step. This sweet guy was found as a stray and brought to the shelter with a broken leg. Thanks to our excellent vet staff, Hopper successfully underwent an amputation surgery and is already back on his (three) paws like nothing happened!

Even while healing, he's got that signature Frenchie charm: curious, playful, and always eager to be in the middle of the action. He'll need a bit of TLC and a safe, calm environment as he continues to recover, but he can't wait to show you how well he hops! While we've seen Hopper do well around other dogs, he does like his space and might prefer to be the only pup in the home.

Dapper Hopper joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray. He joined the POMDR crew needing additional medical support before finding his forever family.
