Esme in French means "loved," and this girl sure is well loved by all who meet her. With her gentle, mellow personality and smile that lights up any room, Esme makes friends with everyone she meets.

She's an easy keeper who doesn't ask for much, except she would love to have her people around to keep her company for much of the day. Esme hopes to find a quiet spot to land so that she can get her bearings in her new setting. She gets along great with other dogs big and small. What's not to love?

This sweet senior joined us as a transfer from a partner rescue of ours, Doggie Protective Services, after they found that she needed further medical treatment that we could provide.
