Joyful and happy Josephine is very devoted to her humans and will gladly cuddle up with you whenever she gets a chance. Her loving gaze with those big brown eyes will surely melt your heart. At her foster home, she is polite with the cats and plays well with the other small dogs. She gets so excited when it is time to go on a walk with her comrades. For your entertainment, this funny girl shows off with a hilarious baby-wailing bark or a theatrical high-pitched whine. At the end of her busy day, she contently nestles into her crate and sleeps soundly through the night.
This poor pup came to us with a pretty gnarly skin infection, but our wonderful vet staff and her foster mom managed to get the infection under control and by now her coat recovered beautifully. She has been very cooperative when receiving ear drops and taking her medications - especially when the pill is wrapped in yummy cheese. Josephine is an absolute sweetheart and all around delight, so if you are looking for a perfect dog and new best friend, look no further. Her bags are packed, she is ready to move and join your pack.
Josephine came to POMDR from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was found as a stray. She was in need of more medical attention than the shelter was able to provide.
