Bert, true to his namesake, is a total character! He's sure to make you chuckle every day with his silly antics. Despite his age, he is known to run zoomies around the yard and really just enjoys living life! He gets along great with other pups but he's more of an independent spirit. Bert likes to take himself on walks about the yard to smell the smells. He's not quite the cuddle bug type, but he's happy to keep you company for whatever adventure you have in store.
Bert and his pal Ernie were frequent flyers at the Sacramento County Bradshaw shelter, often coming in with a new pal in tow. While they are the sweetest duo, the shelter found that they do best living separate lives, soaking in time with their people. We're excited to give Bert a warm landing spot to spend his days.
