Precious Emerald is the sweetest guy, with soulful eyes and a friendly smile! He is a very tolerant, kind, and gentle boy who loves to meet new people. He gets along well with other dogs as well as with cats. Emerald is a big snuggle bug and dreams of a calm and warm forever home with adoring humans who will reciprocate all the love that he has saved up for them. He would be very happy to have a canine buddy to keep him company as well.

This hefty boy has a bit of a sweet tooth for anything resembling food, and will make sure that no crumb will be on the ground for long. Needless to say, Emerald would appreciate a couple of walks on a daily basis and play-exercise, so that he can shed a few of those extra pounds. He enjoys leashed walks and car rides and is always up for a little adventure. When left home alone, he will quietly tuck himself in and take a good long nap.

Emerald joined us from San Jose County Animal Services after his guardian was no longer able to care for him and he was surrendered to the shelter.
