Meet Thelma, the girl with what seems like a very traumatic backstory, who is in serious need of a human who can show her what true love looks like. We suspect that Thelma was hit by a car a while back and her back leg never healed. She has been noted as one of the sweetest dogs currently at the shelter and our office. Thelma loves meeting other dogs and people, wiggling her tail at every new friend. She is a sweet, curious, and gentle girl.

This sweetheart, due to her medical needs, will need someone who is patient and willing to take her to and from our clinic to get fully treated for her remaining unhealed injuries.

Thelma came to us from the Hitchcock Road Animal Shelter.
