Bradley is a little guy with a big heart, but it does take him a little while to warm up to new people. He has nipped at people he does not know when stressed. Once he warms up to you and feels safe, he is all in and loves a good snuggle. If you've had a shier dog in the past, you probably know the kind of patience it takes to win over a dog like Bradley. And that it is totally worth the loyal devotion that follows.
Bradley loves to nap in the warm sun, curl up in fuzzy blankets, and seek out the coziest spots in the house to unwind. When he's not indulging in relaxation, he enjoys playing fetch with his human, although he's still mastering the art of letting go when it's time to return the ball. He has a beloved stuffed toy named Lambie, which he loves to carry around, and he won't go to bed until he's tucked Lambie in too. His playful spirit and appreciation for comfort make him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys the simple pleasures.
He can peacefully co-exist with canine siblings who respect his space, but he doesn't have any experience with cats. Because of his shy nature, his ideal home would be a quiet place without young children.
This sweet boy joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was picked up as a stray. He was overwhelmed by the environment at the shelter and was not doing well. We were happy to welcome him into the program and offer him a soft landing spot.
