Precious Pearl is a darling senior who is ready to scamper into her forever home! Though we are unsure of what life was like for Pearl before joining POMDR, we know it can only get better from here. This sweet girl is learning that people can be good and kind, and with a little help from a tasty treat, you are sure to find a place in her heart. This little lady has such a sweet and quirky personality, she makes everyone giddy with laughter. She can be found proudly prancing around with one of her beloved "babies" (a plush toy) in her mouth, going from room to room to check on everyone in her foster's home.
This sweet girl gets along great with other small dogs who don't mind her uncoordinated quirky self. It is clear this little darling has experienced some traumas in her past, because she really doesn't enjoy being left alone. She will cry, whine, and search desperately for a companion when left alone. Worry not! We do not expect our adopters to tackle separation anxiety alone, we have a wonderful behavior team that is happy to walk through just what to do in order to make Pearl feel more confident and content when left alone.
This curly girl joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after she was picked up as a stray with a severely injured eye. We removed her painful, non-functional eye, and she is healed up and feeling much better!
