Little miss Marimar is ready to trot on in to your home and maybe into your heart! This sweet little one doesn't ask for much. She'd love a home where she can take in a nice walk around the neighborhood and maybe some cuddle time with her person. She doesn't always love being handled so she is searching for a home that is able to provide her with the space she needs to become comfortable while she warms up.
Marimar is accustomed to living with other dogs although she can be a tad overwhelmed when meeting some dogs. Ideally, she'd love a home with another dog in the home that's of similar size and not upset with sharing her people. She may also need some slow intros with dogs in her next home. She also gets nervous when she's left alone (so a home with another mellow companionable canine would be ideal); We don't know yet how she does around kitties and she's looking for an adult only home. This sweet girl walks great on leash and enjoys these outings but she can share her opinions about other dogs when out in the world so she's looking for an adopter experienced (or willing to learn!) with leash reactivity.
This sweet little lady joined us from Santa Cruz County Animal Services after she was surrendered to the shelter.
