Didi is a beautiful Spaniel boy who has plenty of love to give! He is great with other dogs but especially loves to be around his people. However, he is not a fan of kitties. Didi is a high-energy boy who will need plenty of exercise in his next home to get those legs moving.

Didi is being treated for chronic ear infections that are common to his breed. Did can be very picky about how he is handled. We are not sure if it's due to some pain from the ear infections or if it's purely behaviorial. He has used growling and snapping to communicate his displeasure with putting a harness on or off, or being told no when he wants to do something. He has nipped at people he doesn't know well and has drawn come blood with his nips. We are looking for a home without children. And most importantly, we are looking for a foster or adopter he has experience working with dogs with behavior issues and can move slowly with him to gain his trust. We do have a dog behavior specialist on staff who will work with any foster or adopter that Didi goes to.

Didi came to us after his guardian had a stroke and was no longer able to care for him.
