Whoever said that good things come in small packages must have had Belle in mind! This mini husky-mix girl may be small, but she has a mighty personality. She gets along well with some other pups, but takes some gentle warm-up time to get to know them. She can be a bit opinionated on leash when seeing some other dogs, so she is looking for an experienced hand to help her with this. Belle adores adventuring and would love to accompany you on walks, hikes, beach days and more. Belle is a wonderful car companion too! She is responding well to leash training and does well with positive reinforcement techniques. She is improving upon her good manners every day and will be thrilled to continue learning and growing in her new home.

This sweet girl enjoys being with her people, snuggling, giving kisses, and playing with all types of toys that keep her busy. We're not sure how she is with children, as she has not been around them during her time with us. She is very interested in kitties, so she may do better in a house without them (or with patient ones).

Belle initially came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after being found as a stray. She was adopted out to a loving home, but unfortunately, her adopter has been experiencing some health issues that do not allow for her to provide Belle with the care that she needs. So Belle is back with us, searching for her forever family.
