Are you looking for a teddy bear to hug all day long? Look no further, Capri is your ultimate snuggle bug! She is a mellow gal who is looking for a special person or family who can give her a loving home for the rest of her golden years. Capri doesn't ask for much. She just wants to be around her people and is also content snoozing away in a cozy spot nearby. Capri's ideal day is eating her special diet meals & treats, getting pets, naps, sniffing around the yard, and maybe a short, slow stroll around the neighborhood. Her "herding" dog instinct is still on display as she likes to gently herd the dogs in her foster home. She also likes to make sure everyone is okay and where they should be. A herding dog experienced home would be best for Capri to ensure that this behavior is understood.

Sweet Capri would do best in a home without a lot of stairs, due to some arthritis and low vision. She does seem to have some eyesight, but she is fully deaf. She is also on medication to keep her heart stable. Despite these things, she navigates fine in her environment and is a happy-go-lucky gal! Capri does not have known experience with cats or children.

Capri came to us from San Jose Animal Care and Services after she was picked up as a stray.
