Wasabi is a tiny dog with a brave spirit! She's had a rough time lately, but she refused to let it get her down. She is an example of the incredible resilience that dogs are capable of.
Wasabi came to us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services, where she was brought in after being hit by a car. She does have several breaks in her jaw, as well as a broken pelvis.
While her injuries are serious, and will require several months of crate rest and possible surgery, she has a favorable prognosis, and could still have many good years ahead of her. She will have a long road to recovery, though, and would need to find a very special, patient adopter who is close enough to the Monterey area to get her to and from her appointments at our vet clinic.
