Alaya is looking for a companion who loves long walks, belly rubs and treats! That combo seems like the all time best life for her! She is slowing down a tad at 5 years old but does still have good energy and needs regular exercise. She is affectionate and loves pets but occasionally gets excited and will jump up to say hi and pull on leash. She could benefit from some basic training. Alaya is one smart cookie, we think she will learn fast.

Alaya is quite active and would probably do better with someone who can take her on longer walks or to the dog park to run around daily. She has never lived with a cat but has had promising encounters and may be civil in living with one with a proper introduction.
