Boo Boo is a little cuddlebug who can bond strongly with his person. He has a tendency to climb up onto your shoulder and perch like a parrot so he can see as much as possible. He enjoys home life and comfy couch lounging.

He is good on leash but prefers walking in calm areas, as he will growl at anything that stresses him. He gets along well with other dogs and can live with or without them, but his confidence does seem much better when other dogs are around. He becomes protective of his food at dinner time, and a routine and safe procedure will be great for him.

Boo Boo is a very polite little gentleman but is also anxious, unsure and lacking confidence. He comes out of his shell with people, but remains easy to startle and confuse. He really needs a quiet home without children where his person is home throughout the day with him. Coming and going or an active home puts him on edge.

Boo Boo came to us because his senior guardian moved into an assisted living facility. He was adopted and loved dearly, but their lifestyle was too active for Boo Boo Chi and it was apparent that a quieter home would be better for him.
