Every once in a while, we meet dogs that have intense medical conditions but despite how uncomfortable they must be, they are just the sweetest dogs. That is exactly what we have seen with Lupin. This poor girl came to us with an enormous mammary mass and matted hair. If you met Lupin in person, you would never even suspect that anything is wrong, because she is the sweetest little thing! She is a little wary of harnesses and leashes but really loves people.

Lupin was picked up as a stray and taken to Monterey County Animal Services. They reached out to us to help with her mass. Our clinic staff did her intake exam within hours of coming into our program and moved things around so that she could have her surgery. She is recovering well! We're so glad that we were able to remove that mass and get her back on her feet.
