Oh my - would you LOOK at that face? Nigel, who doesn't look or act 13-years old, is such a gorgeous gentleman! Nigel has been a well-loved dog his entire life, having been originally brought home as a puppy. Sadly, his guardian is physically unable to care for him any longer, and has had to give him up. Nigel understandably was heartbroken at losing his family and home, but with the loving care of his foster mom he has become secure and has shown what a great personality he has. He is such a sweet little fellow who is mellow and well behaved, with a curious and playful streak. Nigel is a gentleman who gets along with other dogs and ignores cats. He's quiet and doesn't bark or growl, and loves treats and soft food. Nigel is crate trained, and definitely an affectionate pup. Expect to be kissed!

Nigel is OK when left alone, although he would love to be in a home where someone works from home, or could take him to work with them. He would be perfect for retired folks who enjoy being home. Gentle children would likely be welcomed by Nigel. his little man is great on solid ground and would be best in a house without many steps. He enjoys being a lap dog and wants to be loved!

Nigel is such a sweet little fellow. He will tiptoe up to new people and ask for some attention and then if you take your hand away, he'll gently ask for more pets. He is a very endearing little guy.
