This fella is a love bug. He adores people, and was previously best buds with a cat! They used to play together! He enjoys playing with kiddos as well. Snix is peachy around other dogs, too.

Snix has a lot to say when he is excited. He does tend to be barky, especially in the car. We think he might learn to stop that with someone patient who can help with his training. We have not seen him barking while alone; it is a reaction to him being overly excited.

Snix was diagnosed with oral melanoma in November 2020. He had the melanoma removed and went through two months of cancer treatment with Dr. Arteaga at Animal Cancer Center. He may have oral lesions pop up from time to time over the course of his life and will need treatment each time.

Our hope is that he goes on to live a regular life span. He is looking for an adopter who is willing to give him all the love he deserves for the rest of his life and can continue his cancer treatment and follow-ups as needed.

Snix came to us because his senior guardian moved to an assisted living facility.
