Bowtie, known lovingly as Beau, is a very polite gentleman. He gets along quickly and easily with other dogs. Despite his age, he is very spry! He LOVES walks and can do 2 miles with ease. He can jump on the couch and is ready to cuddle with you. He is a bit mischievous and will happily go through your purse in search of treats if it's on his level or vacuum your car for food. He is deaf, but has great vision and follows non-verbal cues well. He takes in his surroundings easily and will follow a pack if he's around them.

Bowtie does have anxiety with transition and being alone in new places. Once familiar with his person, he is a calm, happy companion. He will need a person nearly always home because of his desire to be with his people.

Bowtie is taking vetmedin for his heart and will need this for life. He also need to receive eye drops for life. He is also a dog that need to be kept safe as he will try to eat anything he can find that seems like food.

He came to us because his elderly guardian passed away.
